One hour away from Lisbon is a place called Sintra. This was described as a fairytale land because everything is colourful and green. I almost thought I was in the location where Pan’s Labyrinth was shot hahaha, no really that’s how it felt roaming around this place.
The well is in Poco Inciatico Palace, so once you get there and pay the entrance fee you get a map that lists everything including places to visit. Inciatico is well kept and you could literally explore every inch if you wanted to. I found myself in a dark passage that led me to a different side of the castle.
