The city of life can be seen in less than 48hrs. There is even a bus that will take you to the city centre or a free tour of the city all paid for by the city unless you want to take public transport and do it yourself (good option).
Public transportation is the best way around the city, the blue mosque is in a very good location where you could see the mosque and other wonderful architecture that surround it.
