Caves of Hercules – Tangier

The Caves of Hercules is one of the most popular tourist attractions near Tangier. The cave is open to the public and it’s small enough to be in and out of in 20 minutes or less depending.

The view from the outside is breathtaking; picture blue skies, light blue sea and mountains all around. There are locals who come there to fish in the afternoon (see picture) and I don’t blame them, if I lived there I would do it even though I hate fishing! There’s also an awesome cafe that overlooks the sea and town which I highly recommend.
