About an hour away west of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia there is an empty land with little shacks around it surrounded with quad bikes to rent and explore with. We started our journey at around 10am in the morning on a weekend when the roads are completely empty, and reached the place just before 11am with no prior booking.
So this is how simple it is when you get there. Look around at the quad bikes, select the one you like, jump on it and ride away. We paid when we got back. The dunes were amazing, but as a strong recommendation grab your sunglasses, hat and sunscreen because it is hot out there. Also go with others because after a little while it gets boring if you are alone.
Once our hour finished we went back, paid the balance and head straight back.
